Band Parent Meeting - Our next band parent meeting will be Tuesday, April 21st,
at 7pm in the band room.

Vice President Nominations - The office of Vice President is becoming vacant this year. We will be taking nominations for Vice President at the
next band parent meeting and we will need two people to volunteer for the nominating committee. This will involve taking nominations,
making ballots, and counting the votes.

Memorial
Day Water & Popcorn Sale - We need someone who is willing to chair this fundraiser.
Everything has been set up for this year. If we don’t use this opportunity,
which has been successful in the past, we will lose our permit for next year. Anna Farrell has the details for what
is needed, so please contact her at [email protected] if you are interested.

OUTBACK FUNDRAISER – May 14
in conjunction with the Concert Band concert. It will be held from 5-6:30 in the cafeteria of the
High School. Please place your order early.

CAN
& BOTTLE DRIVE – The next can & bottle drive is April 25th
from 10-2pm at Stop & Shop. We did very well with our bake sale, so we are planning to continue again next
time. We need parent help as well as student help for this drive!!

There is one way to raise funds for the NMHS Marching Band and Color Guard that
is easy and free. The best part is, it won't
cost you a penny.
We are registered with GOODSEARCH.
Goodsearch is a search engine, like any other but with one difference - the NMHS Band and Guard get one penny every time you click to search for a topic.
Now that may not seem like a lot but those pennies really add up, especially if all band parents and students start using
Goodsearch.
This program has
the potential to raise significant and unprecidented funds for our kids, providing we can get everybody to participate.
In addition, Goodsearch is affiliated with numerous businesses that will donate a percentage of
your purchases to the NMHS Band & Guard. They include Amazon, Wal Mart, Sears, iTunes, L.L. Bean, Best Buy and many

services shooting images of our kids in competition and making them available for sale. We ask that you compare their prices to our prices, their
variety to our variety and their quality to our quality. Futhermore, our organization enjoys no financial
benefit from those sales. They make no contribution to our Band or Guard.
Please remember...
Our photos are far less expensive than any outside service.
All of our photographers are professional or serious amateurs
and shoot with top-shelf equipment.
Our photographers know our kids and know our show.
Our photographers shoot only our kids.
Our photographers attend and shoot at all events; not just
championships.
Our photographers are all volunteer; they take no pay.
ALL PROCEEDS (after lab costs) go directly back the
NMHS Band Parents to support the band & guard.
So, please visit our extensive galleries to make your photo
selections. Our images make great mementos of these wonderful years and, at the same time, help to provide much needed
funds for our kids.
